Athy RFC Minis have come up with a novel and affordable solution for Under-10 and Under-11 Coaches who are looking to end their season with a fun team-building trip with their announcement of the first ever Rugby Camp-Out on April 20th..

This event, which is the first of its kind, includes separate Under-10 and Under-11 Blitzes during the afternoon, an evening of Fun Team-Building activities for Players and Coaches and an overnight Camp-Out on the pitch under the guidance of experienced camping organisers.

This concept appears to have captured the imagination of Clubs nationally, and will involve 48 teams at Under-10 and Under-11 from 22 Clubs from all four provinces. Along with strong representations from Munster, Connacht and Ulster, there will be teams participating from 11 Leinster Clubs including Kilkenny, Lansdowne, Naas, Newbridge, Portlaoise, Skerries, Tullamore, Tullow, Westmanstown and Wexford.

Excitement is building among the visiting teams and also the army of volunteers who are on standby for an event which looks likely to become a fixture in the underage calendars over the coming years.
