In addition to the normal school rules the following apply:

1. A player is deemed eligible for the competition if:

(i) He is under sixteen on the 1st April.

And

(ii) He is in transition Year or in 3rd year and is too old for the Junior Cup competitions.

And

(iii) He has never been selected for the senior panel. If he is selected while the competition is running he becomes ineligible for the remainder the competition.

2. The league shall be divided into three divisions:

(i) Division 1: Each team will play each other once. At the end of the league the teams finishing 1st and 2nd in this division will compete in a final.

(ii) Division 2: This division shall be divided into league A and league B. Each team plays the other teams in their league once. At the end of the league the 1st placed team in league A will play the 2nd placed team in league B and the 2nd placed team in league A will play the 1st placed team in league B in the semi-finals. The first placed team shall have home advantage. The two winners will compete in the final.

(iii) Division 3: This division shall be divided into league A and league B. Each team play the other teams in their league once. At the end of the league the 1st placed team in league A will play the 2nd placed team in league B and the 2nd placed team in league A will play the 1st placed team in league B in the semi-finals. The first placed team shall have home advantage. The two winners will compete in the final.

3.
(i) There shall be four points for a win, two points for a draw, and zero points for a loss.

(ii) The league games should be played on a home/away basis as stated on the draw.

(iii) All final will be played at a neutral venue.

(iv) As the nature of Transition year is different in each school, it is up to the schools concerned to arrange dates and times to play their fixtures.

(v) All league fixtures shall be completed by the end of November.

(vi) All finals shall be completed in early December.

(vii) All results shall be forwarded to the league coordinator.
