From kick off Leinster laid down a marker that in the conditions initially it would be tight as was evidenced by the first try which came from a well won lineout by Leinster on Ulster's 22 with a driving maul and a pop pass to Amy Davis (4') who scored almost under the posts with Nora Stapleton converting.
From here on Leinster attacked the Ulster line with a resulting score from full back Jackie Shields (18') which remained unconverted. Leinster continued to dominate up to half time with scores coming from Amy Davis (22'), Orla Brennan (32') and Gill Nolan (40') all converted by Nora Stapleton, leaving the score 33-0 at half time.
The second half opened with a flurry of attacks from Ulster which seemed to change the shape of their game, resulting in continuous pressure on Leinster in their own half, but fortunately for Leinster not resulting in any scores. Tania Rosser (55') scored a magnificent try 15 minutes into the second half but was unconverted.
The dominance of the leinster pack coupled with their ability to move it out wide put pressure on the Ulster defence resulting in further tried from Nora Stapleton (58') and player of the match Orla Brennan (75') who contributed so much in the tight and in the loose.
*Leinster's next outing is the IRFU Women's Interprovincial Finals against Munster in Donnybrook Stadium on Sunday November 29th (KO: 3pm), with Connacht taking on Ulster earlier that day at 1pm in the 3rd/4th playoff.
