Coyle Cup (U11)
The Coyle Cup is an end of season competition, run on a Blitz basis, for Under-11 mini rugby inLeinster.

The day is usually great fun with teams from all over the province playing each other in the Cup, Plate, Bowl and Conference.

Each of the 5 areas usually holds a qualifying blitz in March with the Cup itself usually in April.

Regulations

This competition is organised by the Youth Section of the Leinster Branch and is subject to the Youths Regulations.

This is a Mini competition and all matches are played in accordance with Team Ireland Mini Rugby Regulations.

This competition is open to all affiliated clubs with an 'Active Youth Section'.

All players must be the correct age (under 11 years of age before the 1st July directly preceding the competition).

All players must be registered.

Clubs should have a valid ID card for each player.

History

The Coyle Under 11 Cup was started in 2004/'05 (the Cup was put up by Brian Coyle from Navan).

The first winners were Navan. The Coyle Cup was the first Leinster Mini competition to include Plate, Bowl and Conference sections.

This format has since been used by all 3 Leinster Mini Competitions.
