Youth Leagues History
U14 League
The Under-14 League is the foremost league competition for Under-14 youth rugby in Leinster.

The league stages are run on an area basis with the top teams from each area qualifying for the province wide knock out stages.

Generally the area leagues are run from September to late December with the knock out stages in January and February.

Navan are the current champions of the Leinster Under-14 League.

History

The Under-14 League started in the 1996/'97 season (a year after the Under 16 League started and two years after the Under-18 League started).

Dundalk were the inaugural winners with Delvin (now part of Boyne) runners up.

Regulations

This competition is organised by the Youth Section of the Leinster Branch and is subject to the Youths Regulations.

This competition is open to all affiliated clubs with an 'Active Youth Section'.

All players must be the correct age (under 14 years of age before the 1st July directly preceding the competition).

All players must be registered.

Clubs should have a valid ID card for each player.

All players must be eligible youths players as defined in the Youths Regulations.
