Youth Leagues History
U18 Premier League
The Sean Stratton Under-18 Premier League is the foremost league competition for youth rugby in Leinster.

The league stages generally run from early October to late December with the Semi Finals and Finals in January.

The winner of this League go forward to represent Leinster in the All Ireland Under 18 competition.

Current champions Naas are also current All Ireland champions.

History

The Under-18 League started in the 1994/'95 season with Delvin RFC (now part of Boyne RFC) the inaugural winners and North Kildare runners up.

The competition was played as a single league up till the 2003/'04 season when it was split into a Premier League and Division 1.

Regulations

This competition is organised by the Youth Section of the Leinster Branch and is subject to the Youths Regulations.

This competition is open to all affiliated clubs with an 'Active Youth Section'.

All players must be the correct age (under 18 years of age before the 1st July directly preceding the competition).

All players must be registered.

Clubs should have a valid ID card for each player.

All players must be eligible youths players as defined in the Youths Regulations.
