It was a training night with a difference on Wednesday when over 200 mini rugby players and coaches turned up to Cill Dara Rugby Club in fancy dress…

Thanks to an army of volunteers, Cill Dara Rugby Club was turned into a ‘Club House of Horrors’ for the occasion. Many of the dressing rooms and hallways contained frights and delights as each age group were brought to their doom into the club to have plenty of spooktacular fun.

In the spirit of the occasion, coaches and youth players also donned frightening and, in some cases, hilarious costumes. The evening was finished with a everybody getting a bite to eat in the function room and a raffle for a fang-tastic Halloween cake.

Back to normal though at the weekend when Cill Dara’s undead take on Naas in a mini blitz. After the scares and screams of Wednesday night, they will have no fear…
