The British & Irish Lions have announced the team to play the Brumbies at Canberra Stadium on Tuesday (KO: 10.40am Irish time) and includes Leinster duo Rob Kearney and Sean O’Brien and will be led Ireland’s Rory Best…

Best becomes the third Ireland player to captain the Lions on this tour to date after Leinster’s Brian O’Driscoll and Munster lock Paul O’Connell both previously held the honour.

England centre Billy Twelvetrees, who arrived in Sydney on Friday, will make his Lions debut alongside Brad Barritt, who joins the tour from America where he was on holiday.

Former Wales and Lions wing Shane Williams, currently playing in Japan, will start on the left wing while young England wing Christian Wade, who made his Test debut last weekend against Argentina, will play on the right.
