In 2008 Dublin artist Theo Red released the album ‘Get What You Came For’. The record was produced by Peter Eades (Thin Lizzy, The Four of Us, Christy Moore).

After its release, the album received an award from the Malibu music awards in Los Angeles (Universal publishing) on the first single release for best alternative rock song (other winners included Tom Petty and Grace Slick). Three months later Theo picked up another an honorary award from the International Songwriting Competition.

Soon after Setanta Sports used the second single ‘Screw’ as the official theme music of their Formula 1 season in 2009. This song was also used for GP2 series coverage. Recently Theo Red became the first Irish artist to use Stealth video technology for a music video in Ireland.

The impact of the U.S and Setanta exposure has seen Theo Red packing local venues as the reputation of the album and the live show gathers momentum. The artist continues to tour in 2009 and 2010 in Ireland, France and Italy.
