Six teams from three divisions will play in the last games of the Women’s season for silverware in the Paul Flood and Paul Cusack competitions.

The Paul Cusack Plate final between Arklow and Dublin University will get the day started in Donnybrook.

Arklow had a strong start in the Plate beating CYM J1 48-10 in Arklow.

Following their win the ladies received a bye into the final as an injury hit Portlaoise Ladies were unable to field a team.

Dublin University also received a bye, this time in the first round, when Tallaght Ladies ran short on numbers.

Dublin University’s semi-final game against Athy was a great encounter with the Dublin side overcoming the well-fancied Kildare side, 24-15.

Guaranteed to be a great final the Paul Cusack Plate kicks off at 11am.

The Paul Cusack Cup final between Garda/Westmanstown and Wicklow is set to be the game of the day, these sides have met several times over the season, most recently in the the Division 3 final in St. Michael’s College.

Garda/Westmanstown will be eager to give a better account of themselves having lost 24-10 last time out.

Wicklow on the other hand will be aiming for a rare double of league and cup wins.

Both sides are true examples of the youth systems in clubs and with fantastic travelling support the Paul Cusack Cup final promises to be a cracker (KO 11.30am).

The Paul Flood Plate game between Clondalkin and Suttonians rounds off the day in Donnybrook.

Clondalkin’s path to the final saw them lose 27-15 to Tullow Ladies in the first round of the Paul Flood Cup.

In the semi-final of the Plate the Clonettes stunned CYM at home winning, 17-18.

Suttonians path to the final began with a loss at home to Gorey Ladies losing out on the day 15-20.

Unfortunately, an injury ravaged Wexford Wanderers were unable to field in the semi-final giving Suttonians a bye into the final.

A game not to be missed the Paul Flood Plate final kicks off at 1.00pm.

The Paul Flood Cup game has been postponed due to a replay of the semi-final between Railway Union J1 and Old Belvedere J1 (final date and venue to be confirmed).

The winners of the replay will meet an in-form Tullow RFC.

Having lost their Division 2 final after extra time to CYM, the Carlow ladies will be looking to claim some silverware from a season which saw them only lose one game.

Cups, medals and player of the match awards will be presented straight after each game.
