Season Tickets
Season Tickets Terms and conditions

Q. How do I purchase a Season Ticket?
A. Season Ticket renewals will open to current Season Ticket holders via their Leinster Rugby account from Monday, 5th March and will go on public sale on www.leinsterrugby.ie/seasontickets from Monday, 2nd April. Those who have signed up for the waiting list will have access to available Season Tickets from Thursday, 29th March. All sales open at 10am and Season Tickets can only be purchased online.

Q. How can I pay for my Season Ticket?
A. Season Tickets can be purchased using a Credit/Debit card in either a single payment or by paying 50% upfront and the balance of 50% in June 2011. All credit/debit card payments will incur a Ticketmaster service charge (full service charge will be applied to first payment). Payment can also be made by cheque. You will have 7 working days to submit your cheque payment after booking. No service charge will apply to cheque payments. There will be no split payment option for cheque payments. Cheque payments or credit/debit card payments not received by the allocated deadlines will result in Season Tickets being cancelled. Early Bird pricing will apply to all tickets paid for in full by 29th June.

Q. How do I make a cheque payment?

A. When purchasing your Season Ticket select the cheque payment option. You will be asked to supply credit/debit card details to secure your booking but provided you leave the amount to pay today as €0 this will not be charged. On completion of the transaction you will automatically receive an email confirmation from Ticketmaster. Within approximately 48 hours of receiving this confirmation you should then receive a second email from Ticketmaster with your invoice attached. Your total due and details of where to post the cheque will be in this email. Please note that the service charge will not be deducted until the invoice stage. You will have 7 working days from issue of invoice to submit your cheque.

Q. How much is the Service Charge?
A. The full list of Season Ticket service charges is available on the Season Ticket pricing page. Ticketmaster service charges are based on price per ticket per event.

Q. What format will my Season Ticket be in for 2012/13?
A. Season Tickets will be issued as a plastic credit card style format with your seat and account details printed on it and a bar code which will be scanned at each RDS fixture.

Q. What fixtures are covered by my Season Ticket?
A. Season Tickets include access to all scheduled home Leinster fixtures in the RaboDirect PRO12 League, Heineken Cup and British and Irish Cup and all friendly Leinster A fixtures.

Q. What fixtures are not covered by my Season Ticket?
A. Season Tickets do not cover pre-Season friendly fixtures, any play-offs/knock out fixtures or away fixtures.

Q. What happens if Leinster Rugby transfers a fixture to another venue?
A. For fixtures that are transferred to Aviva Stadium you will be automatically issued a paper ticket by post if the fixture is covered by your Season Ticket. For fixtures that may be played in Donnybrook you will be asked to show your Season Ticket card at the turnstile. Any changes or amendments to this procedure will be communicated to Season Ticket holders in advance.

Q. For fixtures that are transferred to Aviva Stadium, where will I be seated?
A. Season Ticket prices are based on the price of your seat multiplied across all scheduled games and then discounted to give you the best value for paying up front for the Season and giving your commitment to Leinster Rugby for 2012/13. As such you will be assigned a seat in Aviva Stadium of equal or higher value to the price paid for your seat in the RDS. You will also be given priority purchase on all remaining available seats. Specific seats will be automatically allocated by Ticketmaster in advance of the first game in Aviva Stadium. Please note that while your Aviva Stadium seats will be the same for all scheduled games for the 2012/13 Season it is not possible to guarantee the same seats from one season to another. Similarly it is not possible to guarantee the same seats for knock out fixtures however we will accommodate this if and where possible.

Q. I am happy with my seat in the RDS but would prefer to sit somewhere other than my assigned area in Aviva Stadium, is it possible to upgrade?

A. Yes, when you are purchasing your Season Ticket you will have the option to pay an additional fee to upgrade to a different price category. You will not be given any further option to upgrade your tickets for Aviva Stadium.

Q. How do I upgrade my seats for Aviva Stadium?

A. When you log into your Season Ticket account and click 'Pay Now' under 'Season Ticket Renewal' you will see your Season Ticket and an additional payment option(s). If you wish to upgrade please ensure you tick the appropriate box. If you do not wish to upgrade ensure only the Season Ticket box is ticked. If you are given more than one upgrade option (eg. Silver Season Ticket holders have the option to upgrade to Premium or Cat 1 tickets) please ensure only one of the upgrade options is ticked. If you tick more than one box you may be charged for two upgrades. Please note that where there are multiple tickets in an account it will only be possible to upgrade all tickets or none. If you wish to upgrade only some of your tickets please contact tickets@leinsterrugby.ie for assistance. There are a limited number of upgrades available in each category and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Q. I already have Season Tickets but wish to move to different/better seats in the RDS. How do I do this?
A. If you wish to remain in your current seats you will need to log into your Season Ticket account between 5th and 23rd March and pay the invoice that will appear on your account to secure your Season Tickets for 2012/13. However if you wish to change your position you will need to log in from 10am on Tuesday, 27th March when all un-renewed seats will go back on sale to Season Ticket holders. These seats will be sold exclusively to Season Ticket holders on a first come first served basis so there is no guarantee that you will secure your desired seats.

Q. I already have Season Tickets but wish to purchase extra Season Tickets beside my own. How do I do this?
A. As all Season Ticket holders are given the option to renew their Season Tickets there is no guarantee that seats next to your current Season Tickets will become available after renewals close so this is not possible. You will have the option to purchase additional tickets on a first come first served basis from 10am on Tuesday, 27th March.

Q. What happens if I do not renew my current Season Ticket by 23rd March?
A. All Season Tickets that have not been renewed by 23rd March will be cancelled and released for sale to other Season Ticket holders from 27th March.

Q. I have never bought a Season Ticket before, what is the procedure to buy?
A. All of our Season Tickets are sold online via Ticketmaster. During the process of purchasing a season ticket when they go on sale to the waiting list or on public sale, you will be prompted to create an account. This account will become your Leinster Rugby Season Ticket account and while it is run by Ticketmaster this database is managed by Leinster Rugby. Your Season Ticket can be managed by you through this account to sell your Season Tickets for particular matches, enter lotteries for International tickets and purchase tickets for away games etc. You can also view/amend your personal details by logging into this account at any time on www.leinsterrugby.ie/tickets

Q. Do I need to purchase a Season Ticket for my child?
A. Children under two years of age attending on a parent's lap do not require a Season Ticket. Tickets for these children are free of charge however, as all patrons attending a match must have a ticket they can be obtained from the Ticket Office on Anglesea Road before kick-off at each game. Children over two years and under 18 years will require a Junior Season Ticket. These are available in the Gold and Silver categories. Patrons over 18 years of age will require an adult Season Ticket.

Q. Can I bring my child onto the Terrace?
A. Junior Season Tickets are not available in the Terrace for Health and Safety reasons. Due to a directive from our Health and Safety advisors children under 12 years of age are not permitted entry to the Terrace and may be refused entry. Do not purchase Bronze tickets for children under 12 years of age as they will be refused entry to this section.

Q. When will I receive my Season Ticket?
A. Season Tickets will be posted out to you approximately four weeks prior to the first game of the new Season.

Q. I am buying additional Season Tickets for friends, is it possible to set up their own Season Ticket account?
A. Yes. Once you have purchased your Season Tickets and received your email confirmation of same you can email tickets@leinsterrugby.ie indicating which of your tickets you wish to transfer into a friend's name and their details. You will receive an email from us confirming when this is done. These Season Tickets may still be posted to your address depending on when this information is received however. The final date for account changes is 17th August 2012. Please note that it is not possible to have the same email address on two separate accounts.

Q. If I cannot make it to a particular game, can I pass my Season Ticket to a friend?
A. Yes. You can log into your account and print out a paper copy of your ticket for an individual game and pass it on to a friend or you can forward it by email to a friend for no additional cost. Once you print/forward a ticket for a specific game this will automatically void your Season Ticket card for this game so it will not scan if presented at the RDS.

Q. What do I do if I lose my Season Ticket card?
A. If you lose your Season Ticket card you can either request a replacement card by emailing tickets@leinsterrugby.ie (there is a €10 replacement fee per card) or you can log into your account prior to each game and print off a paper ticket for your seat.

Q. What do I do if I arrive at the RDS/Aviva Stadium and realise I have forgotten/lost my ticket?
A. A replacement paper ticket can be issued at the venue's Ticket Office on production of valid identification. There is a €5 charge for each paper ticket issued at the venue.

Q. As a Season Ticket holder can I purchase tickets for Leinster away fixtures?
A. Leinster Rugby will obtain an allocation of tickets for certain away fixtures throughout the season and for potential play offs. These will be made available to our Season Ticket holders via their Season Ticket accounts. You will receive an email from us in advance of any sale of tickets for away fixtures.

Q. Can I buy tickets for International fixtures from Leinster Rugby?
A. Leinster Rugby will have a limited allocation of tickets for home International fixtures available for Season Ticket holders. Due to the demand for these limited tickets they are distributed via a lottery. Tickets for away international fixtures will not be available.

Q. How do I get information regarding ticket sales/ International lottery/ play off tickets/ Season Ticket renewals etc?
A. All of our Season Ticket correspondence is done via email. It is vital that you supply us with a full and correct email address when creating your account to ensure you receive all updates. Leinster Rugby cannot be held responsible for emails that are not received. You can view/update your contact details at any time by logging into your Leinster Rugby account on www.leinsterrugby.ie/tickets
