Domestic Rugby Manager

Philip has been involved with all aspects of Leinster and Irish rugby over the past 15 years. Philip’s club career began with Naas RFC after leaving Newbridge College where he played at out-half and moved on to Bective Rangers FC.

He played as No.8 for Leinster from 1988-’94 and was part of the Irish squad from 1990-’94 and was capped on three occasions.

He then joined the IRFU development staff in 1994 and has been involved in the coaching of a number of Irish sides in the intervening years – Colleges, Universities, Under-19 and Development sides.

He was in charge at the initial stages of the player development programme and is now the Domestic Rugby Manager with responsibility for rugby development in the province.
