OLSC Mini Bodhráns

The OLSC is delighted to announce the announce the arrival of Supporters Club branded mini bodhráns that are on sale now. Bodhráns have been synonomous with Leinster Rugby supporters but they are not the most portable of items to carry about. The specially commissioned Supporters Club mini bodhráns are eight inches in diameter and were handcrafted in Roundstone, Co Galway using genuine goatskin in the same fashion as full size bodhráns. The bodhráns, which come boxed with a beater and tutorial booklet, deliver a good bang for your buck and will be ideal for children as well as anyone who wants to wants to make their presence felt on match days.

Their compact size also makes them suitable to bring to away matches in carry on luggage so you can bring the Leinster beat with you on the road. The bodhráns will be available before and after the match on Saturday and will cost €20. They are the first item in a series of new merchandise from the OLSC. More details coming soon. It’s time to expand your vocabulary … The Official Leinster Supporter’s Club Brian O’Driscoll tribute T-shirt ‘Triskaidekaphobia’.

Triskaidekaphobia is the morbid fear of the number 13. A phenomenon that for one reason is found more commonly in professional rugby than in everyday life: quite simply, that reason is Brian O’Driscoll. Throughout his professional career Brian O‘Driscoll has been synonymous with the number 13. Whether it has been for the British and Irish Lions, Ireland or his home province of Leinster, Brian has inspired fear and respect in the opposition as one of the best centres in world rugby.

The T-shirt features the word 'Triskaidekaphobia' in large print across the front and the number '13' on the back with an image of Brian’s face behind it. As usual, the T-Shirt will be available in men’s and ladies’ sizes but for the first time children’s sizes will also be on sale.

The T-shirt is available for sale at Leinster home games and via PayPal. Shirts bought in the ground are €15 (adults) and €10 (children).
