Leinster Rugby will begin the defence of their European title in Pool 1 of the Heineken Champions Cup against Wasps, Toulouse and Bath next season.

While many supporters will have travelled for games against these teams before, the OLSC appreciates that some may not so we have put together this brief guide.

Wasps

Based at the 32,000-seater Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the nearest airport is Birmingham which has direct flights all year round with both Aer Lingus and Ryanair. From there the easiest way to get to the ground is by train (or share a taxi for the 23km journey).

See our last away guide here.

Toulouse

A powerhouse of French and European Rugby, Stade Toulousain are based at the 19,000 capacity Stade Ernst-Wallon in Toulouse. Home to aircraft manufacturer Airbus, there are direct flights with Aer Lingus on a seasonal basis. At present these flights stop running at the end of October.

Another option is to fly to nearby Carcassonne (95kms). You can get to Toulouse from there by train, rental car or as in previous years a special direct OLSC bus service may operate (these normally run subject to demand and are announced soon after each fixture date is confirmed).

See our last away guide here.

Bath

A favourite among supporters, especially if we get to visit in December (Christmas markets!). The Rec is an old school rugby ground located in the city centre (capacity 14,500).

Direct flights operate all year round with both Aer Lingus and Ryanair to Bristol. From there it’s just a 32km journey by bus, train, rental car, taxi or, as for Toulouse, a special direct OLSC bus service may operate (these normally run subject to demand and are announced soon after each fixture date is confirmed).

Away match tickets

The OLSC encourages supporters to avoid the temptation of buying directly from the opposing teams so that the blue is together via our official away allocation. Season Ticket holders are normally emailed with details as fixtures are confirmed.

Recommendations on areas in the ground to purchase will be communicated by the OLSC via this website and our social media platforms.

Away Guides

Updated Away Guides for each venue will be published before each game and are normally available for free download from this website on the Tuesday before each away game.

Additional travel information

As fixture dates are confirmed throughout the season, regular travel information will be published on this website, the Leinster Rugby eZine, home match programmes and our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) – all accounts are @OLSCRugby.
