Leinster Rugby’s Heineken Champions Cup defence will begin with a home tie against Wasps on the night of Friday, 12th October, at the RDS Arena (KO 7.45pm).

The last time the two sides met in Europe in a Champions Cup Quarter-Final at Aviva Stadium in April 2017, with Leinster coming out on top on that occasion.

However, Dai Young’s side defeated Leinster on their last visit to the RDS Arena in the opening round of Europe back in November 2015.

Tickets for the opening round match will go on sale next week, with more information to follow in the coming days on leinsterrugby.ie.

Eight days later, Leo Cullen’s men will take on Toulouse in Round 2 at Stade Ernest Wallon (KO 4.15pm local time).

Four-time European champions Toulouse visited Aviva Stadium back in April 2011 for a European semi-final, which Leinster won on the way to a memorable final victory against Northampton Saints.

Leinster will take on Bath – who will have Girvan Dempsey as part of their coaching team this season – in back-to-back games in December, with the first taking place at The Rec on Saturday, 8th December (KO 3.15pm).

The following week the sides will meet again at Aviva Stadium with the game set for a 5.30pm kick-off.

The final two rounds of fixtures will see Toulouse visit the RDS on Saturday, 12th January (KO 1pm), followed by a trip to the Ricoh Arena in Round 6 on Sunday, 20th January (KO 3.15pm).

Ticket information for Leinster Rugby’s three home pool matches will be announced in due course.
