North Kildare RFC are re-launching their annual Easter Sunday 7’s Tournament to celebrate 60 years since its inception as the Premier 7’s Tournament in Leinster…
In 1954 the NK7’s was started the Colman Flynn Memorial Competition. It commemorates the tragic deaths of two players, Brendan Colman, fatally injured in a game, and Ernie Flynn, killed in a car accident. The Colman Flynn Trophy will once again be up for grabs on Sunday the 20th April.
In what promises to be an exciting day for rugby enthusiasts, there will be a men’s and ladies competition this year with perpetual trophies and cash prizes for the winning teams. For the supporters there will be a full day’s entertainment in the clubhouse and marquee with all day BBQ available with DJ playing through the day and night and it’s free admission all day for supporters.
All teams must pre-register through the North Kildare RFC Facebook page or on Eventbrite. Match Day Registration & Fixtures Office will be open from 10am on Sunday 20th April for those pre-registered to collect meal & drink vouchers.
