Charity takeover – Irish Cancer Society
Daffodil Day is March 24th which is the day we take back from cancer.
The Irish Cancer Society helps cancer patients and their families across Ireland with services funded by Daffodil Day donations. Bucket collections will be taking place around the RDS ahead of the game on Friday, so please give generously.
The Guinness Fanzone
With the RDS gates opening at 6pm, there is no better place to soak up the pre-game atmosphere than the Guinness Fanzone. (located behind the Anglesea Stand at the Simmonscourt Road end of the campus.)
Before kick off in the Guinness Fanzone, we will have live music from Robbie Doyle.
Senior Leinster Rugby players will also be in the Guinness Fanzone before the game for a Q&A.
The Fanzone will reopen on the final whistle.
Half-time minis
We have four minis teams ready to impress at half-time on Friday night.
We will have Longford Rugby Club taking on Naas RFC and Birr RFC facing Newbridge RFC.
Make sure to make plenty of noise for our half-time minis.
The Catch
For those who want to show off their skills, Bank of Ireland’s The Catch is the place to be.
Located in the sand pit behind the Anglesea Stand, The Catch gives you the chance to showcase your inner Hugo Keenan and impress under a high ball.
The Laya Drummers
As the anticipation builds ahead of kick-off, the Laya Drummers will be around the RDS adding to the atmosphere.
They will be bringing the noise ahead of the game. Be sure to make yourself heard once the game kicks off!
