It is with great sadness that Leinster Rugby announces the passing of Anne McInerney, who served as Schools Administrator for 15 years until her retirement at the end of last season. Anne died on Sunday afternoon after a short illness.
Anne, a St Mary’s RFC member, will be remembered fondly by all those within Leinster Rugby but also by everyone associated with the 120 or so schools affiliated to Leinster Rugby and involved in the various Cups and Competitions she administered during her time in Donnybrook and then of course in UCD.
Her husband Colin and children Mark, Mischa, Corie, Leah, Kenny and Graeme are in all our thoughts as are the rest of her family, friends and club mates.
Anne will be reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Kimmage on Tuesday. Removal on Tuesday evening at 5pm to Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral on Wednesday after 11am Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
