Athboy RFC is a progressive Leinster Division 2b Club based in Co Meath and we are looking for a Coach/Player Head Coach for the 2014-2015 Season…
The club’s Senior XV has been very successful over the last 5 seasons reaching 4 North East League Finals and winning 2, and last season becoming the newest member of the Leinster League, qualifying for Division 2b after the initial Super 6 qualifying stage. We also field a 2nd XV in the North East J3 League.
As well as experienced coaches, this position may suit players who are currently playing at a higher standard and would like to continue playing while adding on-the-field with our senior sides, while also developing their coaching career.
The successful applicant will be required to work within the current management structure, act as 1st XV coach, assist with the development of all club coaches and will also be involved in the management and development of the 2nd XV and will be a minimum qualified IRFU Level 1/Level 2 Assist coach (or equivalent).
