Rugby in Ballymun got a further boost recently at the Trinity Comprehensive School Sports Fair…

CCRO to the area, Michael Murray, advertised rugby in the area to the school with help from 3rd year pupil Michael Carter who plays for the local club side Unidare R.F.C.

It is hoped that Trinity Comprehensive School will establish a school team after the New Year to compete with other developing schools around Dublin. Over 40 pupils signed up from this fair to take part showing the enthusiasm throughout the school.

Starting from the 10th January there will be tag rugby for all ages each Monday between 4.30-6.30pm in Trinity Comprehensive School and Unidare R.F.C U-16 training will carry on every Thursday between 6pm-7pm at DCU Astroturf pitches. Trinity Comprehensive School training started earlier this week between 2.50-3.50pm on the schools Astroturf.

Further training for all ages and abilities started on the 15th January from 10am-11am in Balcurris Park.
