Leading accounting, tax, consulting, and advisory firm, BDO Ireland, has confirmed a new enhanced three-year sponsorship deal with Leinster Rugby.
The new deal comes off the back of a successful ten-year relationship between BDO and Leinster Rugby with BDO now becoming a ‘premium partner’ of the club.
The enhanced partnership agreement will see BDO and Leinster co-develop joint business and marketing campaigns designed around their shared values and BDO’s new – IDEAS | PEOPLE | TRUST – brand identity.
The partnership will see BDO continue their exclusive role as official business advisors to Leinster Rugby for both the organisation and players, while offering their own clients a series of unique Leinster experiences.
With local offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, and a network of offices across the globe, BDO offer a wide portfolio of client-first services across audit, tax, consulting and advisory.
Michael Costello, Managing Partner of BDO said: “Over the past decade our partnership with Leinster Rugby has delivered for our brand and for our business growth and we’re excited to become a premium partner for the next three years.
“I’m especially looking forward to working closer with the women’s team and growing our partnership over the coming years. High performance is a value that both Leinster and BDO hold true and this new agreement means our brands will be aligned even closer.
“We are delighted to continue our trusted relationship as official business advisors to the club and we look forward to working with Leinster on a number of exciting joint brand initiatives as well as offering money can’t buy experiences to our clients.”
Speaking about the deal, Shane Nolan, CEO of Leinster Rugby said: “BDO have been a long established and valued member of the Leinster Rugby sponsorship family for ten years so naturally we are delighted that they have committed and not only that but have looked to enhance the partnership with us for a further three years.
“As one of Europe’s largest accounting networks, it’s that breath of expertise and know-how that BDO will bring to this partnership in helping us in Leinster Rugby to drive forward off the field and advising us as an organisation well into the future.
“We look forward to working closely with Michael, Ciarán and all the team in BDO.”
