The commissioning of the new floodlights on Thursday, 12th April saw a great turnout of members, young and old, to see the lights switched on for the first time.
This is the third phase of a major undertaking by the clubs development sub-committee headed up by Chairman, Paddy McCleery and overseen by the club’s own Project Manager, Emmet Finegan.
The lights are of the highest possible standard and will be a huge advantage to the club in accommodating fixtures on an all-weather pitch which will be playable at the start of next season.
