Castleknock College was established in 1835 and has a longstanding commitment to excellence that includes a strong and successful rugby tradition.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the administration of rugby within Castleknock College, overseeing the writing and implementation of a Rugby Development Plan as well as coordinating participation, performance and excellence in rugby.

You will be working within a second-level school structure to lead the development and implementation of squad management at all levels, monitoring and mentoring coaches at all levels and ensuring that a single coherent coaching philosophy is in place.

Reporting directly to the Headmaster and the Board of Management of Castleknock College, you must have a strong rugby pedigree with up-to-date technical knowledge of rugby and a proven track record.

You must also have the personality, maturity and competence to build relationships throughout the College and rugby community to further the goals and objectives of the College. Ideally you will have attained the IRFU Level 2 Coaching course and be an advocate of the IRFU Long Term Development Plan.
