Leinster Rugby made it three wins out of three in the Champions Cup this season with a victory away to English champions Exeter Chiefs on Sunday evening.
The win means Leinster top Pool 3 on 14 points with Exeter and Montpellier both on 8.
Johnny Sexton and Jack Conan scored Leinster’s two tries in a hard-fought win over the Premiership leaders – the province went through 44 phases of play before Conan barged over from close range.
Leinster controlled the game with 66% possession and 68% territory, forcing Exeter into making a mammoth 258 tackles over the 80 minutes.
The two teams meet again this Saturday in what will be a crucial fixture in determining who will top the pool and claim a potential home quarter-final place.
