Today sees the fifth week of The Herald Summer Camps come to an end in Cill Dara RFC and Wanderers FC with more than 250 6-12 year olds taking part.
As a fun filled week of rugby for the participants comes to a close the 250+ youngster can look back fondly on the past five days. One of the many highlights of the week came on Wednesday when players from the first team squad visited both camps. Fergus McFadden went back to his roots to visit the Cill Dara RFC camp along with Rob Kearney while Devon Toner and Zane Kirchner made the short trip to Wanderers FC.
Camp goers at both camps had the chance to get autographs and photos with the players and even ask them anything at all during a Q & A session. The camps continue next week kicking off in Gorey RFC and Tullamore RFC on Monday morning.
