Cill Dara RFC have an assistant coach-player/coach (Forwards) position available for its senior Men’s side for the 2019/20 season. The club’s senior side play in Division 1B of the Leinster League.
The preferred candidates will have a minimum IRFU Stage 3 qualification (or willingness to attend course).
As an assistant coach of the club, we can offer you:
- A coaching pathway including coaching development and coaching goals, regular development meetings, feedback on progression, attendance at IRFU/Leinster coaching courses.
- Top class training and playing facilities to work with, a top class Player Welfare Programme (including club medic, club physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach), and modern training equipment (both rugby and rugby-conditioning specific)
- A young, ambitious set of senior players
- A club that fields 20+ teams regularly and embodies inclusiveness and volunteerism
This position may suit players who are currently playing at a high standard (AIL or otherwise) and would like to continue playing, whilst simultaneously beginning to develop their coaching career.
