Guest speaker for the day was former 3-time Olympian athlete and world 5000m champion Senator Eamonn Coghlan.
After a short film summarising the highlights of his career he entertained the packed room with stories of his former victories and gave members of the club an insight into the mental and physical attributes that brought his to the heights of his of his chosen sport.
With everyone well fed it was time to retire to the hotel bar with live music keeping the revellers entertained into the early hours. Coolmine rugby would like to thank all the staff at Dunboyne Castle Hotel for a great day and of course our special guest on the day Senator Eamonn Coghlan A big thanks also to all sponsors on the day including ‘The Fetherstone group’ and Killarney Telecoms.
