The 59th Annual Colours Match between Dublin University and UCD will take place in Donnybrook on Saturday, 16th April in Donnybrook (KO: 2.30pm)…
This annual fixture is the highlight of the university rugby season and extra spice (if any were needed) is added to this year’s match by the fact that it is the final match of the Ulster Bank All Ireland League for both teams.
In addition, UCD can clinch Division 2 title with a win and Trinity will no doubt be doing their best to stop them and regain the Colours. Therefore an exciting encounter is to be expected.
A pre-match lunch, which is hosted jointly by the two clubs, is taking place in Old Belvedere Rugby Club at 12pm. The cost is €;65 per person, which includes match admission. Places are limited to 130, and they will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
