Minis training in Edenderry RFC looked very different this week.

With the latest restrictions effecting our younger players trick-or-treating this Halloween, coaches at Edenderry RFC wanted to make the kids last night before All Hallows Eve extra fun for all involved.

Parents were informed of the Halloween themed training session and players were asked to come ready to train in costumes or with their faces painted, in the spirit of Halloween.

The ghosts and goblins turned up in force with children and coaches arriving to the club as witches, farmers, skeletons, their favourite rugby players and much more.

The training session was all about fun, with monster races, obstacle courses, touch rugby and of course some tricks and treats.

On a cold night, the kids, parents and coaches all left the club with smiles on their faces and memories of what will hopefully become a new tradition for all the club’s minis teams for years to come.

Edenderry RFC would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped, participated and got involved to make it such an enjoyable session for everyone.

New players are always welcome to the club. Edenderry minis start from U-6 and train every Wednesday and Saturday. Please contact minis coordinator, Niall McEvoy, on 0860211611 if you have any questions.
