Leinster Rugby recently hosted a mini course in Enniscorthy RFC for the South East area which was well attended…
All practical sessions were done outside in the glorious sunshine and the tutors for the course were Declan O’Brien (Coach Development Officer, South East) and Maurice Logue (Community Rugby Officer).
The new course is updated to include the demands of the modern game.
The aim of the course is to give coaches the confidence to deliver effective and fun training session for children at stage 1 of the Long Term Player Development.
The development of coaches at this level is extremely important so they can implement the IRFU technical model and its capacities to help the growth and development of young children and future players for all levels.
Thanks to Enniscorthy RFC for hosting the course and to all the coaches who gave up their time to be there.
