Following today’s announcement regarding Leinster Rugby Season Tickets, we’ve compiled a list of the following FAQs for Season Ticket holders, including what the new Official Membership will entail.

Can I buy Season Tickets for next season?

  • No, unfortunately due to the COVID-19 and the likely impact of social distancing measures on sporting events for some time to come it will not be possible to purchase Season Tickets for 2020/21

Is the 2019/20 season now cancelled as well?

  • No, it is still our hope and indeed the hope of the Guinness PRO14 and the EPCR that the 2019/20 season will finish
  • The first of those Guinness PRO14 games will hopefully take place on the weekend of 22/23 August in the Aviva Stadium but behind closed doors

What games are left on my current 2019/20 Season Ticket?

  • There are three games left on your current season ticket, namely Munster Rugby, Zebre and Cardiff Blues

What happens to those three games remaining on my account?

  • We have a credit scheme in place for the three games remaining on your account and every Ticketmaster account will be credited with this amount in the coming weeks

How much credit am I entitled to?

  • Credit will be applied to your season ticket account on a pro rata basis depending on the category of ticket purchased (excluding service charge)
  • Any season ticket holder with further queries is welcome to email tickets@leinsterrugby.ie

So how long does that credit last for?

  • The credit will last for 24 months from when the credit has been applied to the season ticket holder account

I upgraded for the Munster game, do I get a refund on the upgrade fee?

  • Any season ticket holder who upgraded their tickets for the Munster game will automatically be refunded the upgrade fee

I am a season ticket holder and I also have tickets for the Saracens game, is that also on credit?

  • No, you will get an automatic refund for tickets purchased for the Saracens game as this game was not included in your Season Ticket
  • This also applies to any other single match day tickets (e.g. not part of a Season Ticket) that you may have purchased for the 2019/20 season that wasn’t played

I am not a Leinster Rugby season ticket holder, how do I get a refund for the games I have purchased?

  • All refunds will be from the point of purchase wherever that may be

What is the new Official Membership and what does it entail?

  • The new Official Membership launches on Monday, 8th June and will be available in the first instance to all current season ticket holders
  • The new offering will provide priority access to any match day tickets that become available during the 2020/21 season as well as other exclusive benefits
  • Full details including cost and a list of the exclusive benefits will be sent to season ticket holders in the coming days

But I am anxious about attending games in the current environment. If I don’t want to attend matches next year, do I lose my seat?

  • No, we will protect each membership that currently exists and carry your rights forward to the season 2021/22
  • So even if you don’t purchase an Official Membership for 2020/21 you will still have first refusal on a seat for 2021/22

What does it cost and what do I get as part of the new Club Membership for 2020/21?

  • All information will be sent to current season ticket holders in the coming days ahead of the launch on 8th June

Do I automatically get a match ticket if I have an Official Membership for next season?

  • Should we get permission to hold matches in front of supporters during the 2020/21 season, any tickets that become available will be made available on a first come, first served basis to members of the new Official Membership

I am in a wheelchair, what happens to my current season ticket? Can I get an Official Membership?

  • Every season ticket account and the right to purchase will roll forward until the 2021/22 season
  • Subject to Event Management guidelines, we anticipate that there will be limited tickets in each category and stand in the RDS Arena, excluding the terrace
  • Anyone that is currently a season ticket holder can purchase an Official Membership

I have a junior season ticket, how can I avail of the Official Membership?

  • Anyone that is currently a season ticket holder can purchase an Official Membership

If I purchase an Official Membership for 2020/21 and then if I get a match ticket, is it my ‘usual’ seat?

  • As it currently stands because of social distancing rules we will have to space people accordingly so sitting in a row with the same person or same group of people as normal will not be possible unfortunately
  • In addition, as it currently stands, there will be no terrace option available either to supporters

So I have lost my seat?

  • Yes, nobody will have their current seat for the 2020/21 season
  • Tickets that become available will be in all parts of the ground (excluding terrace) and will be sold on a first come first served basis to members of the Official Membership
  • However, when hopefully everything returns to normal for the 2021/22 season, your seat, as you currently have, will revert back to your account and you will have access to this seat on a first refusal basis
