Leinster and Ireland star Luke Fitzgerald lined out to launch The ARC HOUSE INAUGURAL MEN’S MINI MARATHON in Dublin recently…

The inaugural men’s event which takes place in The Phoenix Park, Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May 2009 aims to raise awareness for services provided for men by ARC Cancer Support Centre along with raising funds for the Centre. 

Grainne Barnett, Director of Fundraising for ARC House said;ARC Cancer Support Centre is a community based charity supporting men and women living with cancer as well as their families and friends. All ARC House services are free of charge. As the work at ARC House becomes better known to men and women living with cancer, more and more people are becoming aware and availing of the free service in ARC House. The variety of services include; one to one counselling, reflexology, massage, relaxation and breathing sessions.”
