Naas Rugby Football Club (RFC) will host a forum, “Beyond Twenty Twenty Two…

Tuesday, 20th January, 2015

Naas Rugby Football Club (RFC) will host a forum, “Beyond Twenty Twenty Two”, designed to help shape the future of the club.  Beginning on Wednesday, February 4th in Palmerstown House at 7.00pm, the forum will allow participants to have an input into the future direction of Naas RFC as it approaches its centenary in 2022.
Beyond Twenty Twenty Two is an important initiative which will enable the club to examine its place in the community and ensure that it is working to become the best community-based club in the country.  If you have an opinion on Naas RFC and what you’d like to see it do in the future, we’d like you to take part in the forum”, said Dermot Benn, President Naas RFC.
The forum will meet on Wednesday, February 4th in Palmerstown Stud Golf Club to consider all aspects of the club, with three facilitators engaged to take on board and discuss the views and comments expressed by the attendees.

These facilitators will then deliver their findings back to the forum on Wednesday, March 4th, before preparing a final report for the Naas RFC executive who will then take action based on the findings.  The report and any recommended initiatives will then be voted upon by the membership of Naas RFC at the club’s 2015 Annual General Meeting in April.
David O’Reilly, Chairman of Naas RFC, welcomed the initiative, saying, “If you have an opinion on Naas RFRC we’d love to hear it.  This is your opportunity to shape the future of Naas RFC, to become a participant and to contribute to this initiative.  The subsequent report will provide a roadmap for the Club as it approaches its 100th year in 2022.”
We ask that you register your intent to attend the forum in advance by emailing .  The forum will run from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, February 4th and again four weeks later on March 4th.
