Saturday last saw Gorey RFC U18’s girls take on Wexford on Gorey’s home pitch…
A great game of rugby was played by both teams. Gorey were strong from the start scoring a try in the first few mins and went on from strength to strength scoring try after try .Wexford put in a valiant effort but Gorey’s defensive line held very firm .
In the second half saw Wexford with a few injuries. Two of Gorey’s players substituted for Wexford showing great team spirit from both teams.
The final score was Gorey 75 v Wexford 0.
