As supporters will be aware, Leinster have been drawn in group two of this seasons Heineken European Cup competition along with ASM Clermont Auvergne, Racing Metro and Saracens…
As the first four games have now been confirmed we can provide the following information for those looking to travel.
Saracens – Saturday 16 October, KO 4pm
With the fixture likely to be moved to the larger Wembly Stadium you have a number of options in getting to the ground.
Fly to Gatwick (Aer Lingus & Ryanair), London Luton (Ryanair), Heathrow (Aer Lingus or bmi), Stansted (Ryanair) or London City (Cityjet) and connect with the required overground or underground services.

ASM Clermont Auvergne – Sunday 12 December (KO 4pm local time)
Clermont Ferrand is located in central France with a population of circa 140,000
There is an airport however it does not operated scheduled international flights to/from the UK or Ireland, if you wish to fly to Clermont Ferrand you will need to change at either Amsterdam, Paris, Bordeaux or Toulouse).
There are direct flights from Dublin to Lyon (Aer Lingus), Paris (Aer Lingus, Ryanair and Air France) both which are a train journey away (2.5 hours from Lyon, 3.5 hours from Paris) and also Rodez (Ryanair).
Trains can be booked at www.tgv-europe.com up to 60 days in advance.
A rental car may also be an option, be sure to check any discounts provided when booking your flights (Lyon is 135 kms, Paris 345 kms and Rodez 162 kms) drive away.
Depending on demand the OLSC may run buses to/from Lyon or another location to assist the travelling support, as we have done in France before.
Racing Metro 92 (W/e of 21, 22 or 23 January 2011)
Based in Colombes, suburban Paris we would recommend flying direct to Paris with either Aer Lingus, Ryanair or Air France. Connect with the RER (rail service) to get around the city and to the ground
