Leinster Rugby ‘A’ scored seven tries on the way to a 44-14 win over Connacht Eagles at Energia Park on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors opened the scoring early on through Cormac Daly, but from that point on Noel McNamara’s side took control of the game with three tries before the break from Alex Soroka, captain Jack Dunne, and Aaron O’Sullivan.

Further second-half tries from Max O’Reilly, Cormac Foley, a second from Soroka, plus a penalty try capped off a fine win.

Leinster ‘A’ are back in action this Friday away to Munster Rugby ‘A’ at Thomond Park (KO 5.30pm).
