Enthusiastic supporters recently enjoyed a memorable breakfast in Wexford Wanderers RFC for the Ireland v Australia Rugby World Cup match…
The queues started lining in from 8am to get an early grab on the delicious breakfast which was served by the club’s regular bunch of fabulous volunteers, including the President Debbie Carty.
A huge crowd turned up for it with all age groups putting in an appearance from the brand new mini’s right through to Seniors, coaches and past players.
A great morning was had by all especially at full time when Ireland won, the roar that came from the Club was heard in the surrounding houses.
After the match, with the crowd in great form, most stayed around to support Wexford’s outgoing Under-13’s in their victorious win over Wicklow in their Leinster Southeast Final.
Many thanks to all our volunteers who surfaced and presented themselves at unsociable hours and worked both through the match and through the day.
Wexford will run another breakfast morning for the Ireland v Italy match on Sunday morning, 2nd October from 8am.
