Fogarty confirmed that all 16 Leinster players involved with Ireland at the weekend would be assessed on a case by case basis before a final decision on selection or otherwise would be made for the visit of Cardiff.
There was positive news on a number of fronts as Tom Daly (who came through the Scarlets game with no issues) and Rory O’Loughlin both recovered from knee and AC joint injuries and should be available again for selection this week.
In further good news, Josh van der Flier (AC), Isa Nacewa (knee) and Seán Cronin (hamstring) all took part in training last week and were expected to step up their recovery again today ahead of further assessment later in the week.
There was also positive updates on Dave Kearney (toe) and Dominic Ryan (knee) who have both stepped up their recovery but would not be available for selection this week.
Rob Kearney (knee) and Jamie Heaslip (lower back) were also ruled out of selection this weekend due to injury.
Kearney picked up a knee injury in Ireland training last Tuesday and will see a specialist tomorrow, while Jamie was withdrawn from the Ireland against England game very late in the warm up and has a lower back injury.
Long term absentee Jordi Murphy continues to rehab from his ACL injury.
Tickets for the game against Cardiff Blues are still on sale at from Ticketmaster or on match day from the ticket office located inside the Anglesea Road gate from 1.30pm.
