Dempsey confirmed that Academy prop Andrew Porter was withdrawn for a Head Injury Assessment in the second half against Ulster and did not return to the field of play and as a result has entered the Return to Play Protocols.

In better news Ian Nagle, who was withdrawn the week before against Munster for a similar injury to Porter, has now come through the Return to Play Protocols successfully and is available for selection this week having missed out on selection against Ulster.

Dempsey also gave an update on Johnny Sexton and Rob Kearney who both trained last week but were not risked for the game against Ulster. They will continue to be monitored this week for hamstring and ankle injuries respectively.

There were no other injury concerns from the game against Ulster and Dempsey also confirmed that Fergus McFadden, Mike Ross and Cathal Marsh were making good progress as they worked their way back to full fitness, with McFadden and Marsh taking part in on field training today.

Tickets for the game against Zebre on Friday evening in the RDS Arena are still on sale at leinsterrugby.ie/tickets
