After training in UCD yesterday afternoon, Leinster Rugby head coach Matt O’Connor issued a squad update ahead of the visit of Zebre to the RDS Arena in the Guinness PRO12 on Friday evening (KO 7.35pm – live on TG4).
Tom Denton, Noel Reid and Richardt Strauss were all removed from the field of play on Sunday afternoon against Dragons having shown symptoms of concussion and as a result are now subject to the return to play protocols.
With a game on Friday, there is not sufficient time for the three players above to be cleared to play and as a result they are not in contention for a place in the match day 23.

Eoin Reddan has recovered from the medial knee injury picked up in the game against Wasps and has trained as normal and similarly Zane Kirchner has recovered fully from the leg injury that has kept him out of action since early January.
Gordon D’Arcy also trained this week and is available for selection at the weekend.
The team to face Zebre will be announced on leinsterrugby.ie at midday on Thursday.
