After the win over Ulster at the RDS Arena Leo Cullen provided an injury update on Luke McGrath, Noel Reid and Johnny Sexton.
Noel Reid came on as a 66th minute replacement for Johnny Sexton, but just six minutes later left the game with an ankle injury.
After the game, Leo Cullen gave this update on Reid: “We’re just getting him assessed. It’s hard to say at this stage. Hopefully it’s not too bad, but we’ll see. I’m sure he’ll go down and get an x-ray and a scan and see how it is.”
Cullen also offered an update on the fitness of Johnny Sexton and Luke McGrath.
“Johnny’s ok, he just got a bit of a bang, so we took him off. Luke McGrath went off early in the first half. Nick Williams lands awkwardly on his knee and his knee folds in on the inside, so he has just a bit of a strain, probably on his medial from what it looks like. Again, we’ll get him assessed and see how bad that is. Hopefully not too bad – he was up and about in the dressing room as well.”
