Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has named his match day squad for Saturday’s Guinness Series game against Italy at Aviva Stadium.

The team will be captained by Rhys Ruddock, one of eight Leinster representatives in the squad, who lines out in the back row alongside Tommy O’Donnell and Jordi Murphy.

Jack McGrath, Rob Herring and Andrew Porter are named in the front row.

Jean Kleyn is set to make his Ireland debut in the second row where he partners Devin Toner.

Luke McGrath and Joey Carbery make up the half back pairing with Chris Farrell and Garry Ringrose in the centre.

Jordan Larmour is at full back flanked by Andrew Conway and Dave Kearney.
