The Ireland Wolfhounds Sevens squad to play in the first round of the GB7s in Edinburgh has been named.
The Ireland side will share pool B with Samurai, Forces Exiles and the Welsh Charitables in the one day event.
Speaking ahead of their departure, Anthony Eddy, IRFU Director of Rugby Sevens said:
“The squad are looking forward to playing in their first tournament. As a group they have prepared and gelled well, individually they have all put in a huge amount of work. The skill level, attitude and performances of the players and of the team as a whole have been very impressive.
“We are looking forward to getting on the pitch on Saturday and we hope to reproduce this for the tournament”
