IT Carlow are playing a top of the table clash v Waterford IT at 6pm in the college on Wednesday, March 4th and will be wearing a newly purchased Pink Kit sporting the ABC Logo…
The team is mainly comprised of students in the Sport and Exercise Degree (Rugby).
On the Wednesday night there will be a “Pink Ball” in the Tower nightclub in Carlow and all proceeds from the door are also being donated.
Then on the Thursday, the college rugby team will take on the college GAA team in a special charity match at 1pm in the college. The first half to be GAA rules and the second half to be Tag Rugby. This will be very enjoyable and entertaining!
IT Carlow are raising funds through the sale of T-Shirts, Pink Ribbons and Collections at the two respective matches. The sale of T-Shirts started today with the college selling out within an hour.
Several hundred more have been ordered and would hope to raise a considerable amount for this worthy cause overall.
