Jack Conan has been ruled out of the Guinness PRO12 game against Zebre tomorrow afternoon and will not now travel with the rest of the squad from Dublin later this morning. Jordi Murphy will now start in his place.
Leinster Rugby Head Coach Leo Cullen confirmed that it was an ankle issue for the Leinster number eight and that it had arisen during training yesterday.
However Cullen also confirmed that it was not a serious issue and that he expects the Old Belvedere clubman to be back available for next weekend’s game against the Ospreys in the RDS Arena.
With Jordi Murphy promoted from the bench to start at number eight, Peadar Timmins will now take Murphy’s spot amongst the replacements. Leinster A captain Timmins made his debut against the Newport Gwent Dragons in January.
