At Leinster Rugby HQ in UCD today Leinster Rugby scrum coach John Fogarty gave an injury update ahead of the visit to Galway this Saturday to play Connacht in Round 5 of the Guinness PRO14 (Kick Off: 5.15pm – live on eir Sport / TG4).
In positive news Fogarty confirmed that three players have now returned fully to the rugby programme and provided they come through training this week, would be available for selection this weekend.
The three in question are Seán O’Brien, Nick McCarthy and Ciarán Frawley.
From the game against Edinburgh at the weekend, Fogarty confirmed that both James Ryan and Dan Leavy were removed with head injuries and will now follow the Graduated Return to Play Protocols under the supervision of team medics.
There was no update on Will Connors (ACL), Barry Daly (knee), Jack McGrath (knee) and Tom Daly (knee).
