The recent draw for the AIB All Ireland Junior Cup, which was recently held in Tullamore RFC, coincided with a surprise 60th Birthday Party for Club Chairman, Paddy Galvin…

Paddy won a Towns Cup Medal in 1976, was a Club Captain, Player of the Year on three occasions, Coached/Managed two different teams to Provincial 2nds Towns Cup wins, President of the Club and now in his second year as Chairman.

He did all this and still as not figured out this “democracy thing”!

To mark the occasion John Callaghan, (President of the I.R.F.U.) who stayed on for the party made a small presentation to Paddy.
