Congratulations to the victorious Lansdowne J3’s who won the Moran Cup recently by defeating a very determined Terenure team in the final 20-7 in Donnybrook recently…

This particular Lansdowne team deserve huge credit as they were winning this cup for the fourth year in succession.

They also managed to achieve the League and Cup Double for the last three years, a record haul of seven trophies in four seasons, a record that will unlikely be bettered. A special mention to Stevie Keating who unfortunately broke his leg in the final but is recovering well after his operation.

The team was once again captained superbly by Stevie Keogh and he was well supported by his experienced management team of Brian Winckworth and John “Starry” Crowley.

Another record that may not be broken is that there are nine players who have managed to win all seven medals, namely; Stevie Keogh, Declan Drummond, Gavin Lee, Kevin “ Tweedie “ Fitzduff, Steve Collier, Peter Dunne, James Cremin, Dave Becker and Eoin Kelly.
