As proud supporters of the Solas Project, Leinster Rugby are delighted to announce that one of the many supporting members of the project, Graham Jones, has been named as a finalist of the 2013 Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awards for the development of our Prison and Probation Programme…
This will allow for further development and expansion of Solas’s current work with young offenders with a vision to ‘Reduce the likelihood of reoffending through pre and post-release support’.
The finalists will now embark upon a three month programme of support and evaluation, designed to help them to clearly define the problem they are trying to address and refine their solution.
Leinster Rugby has always been a strong promoter of the Solas, and is delighted to see one of its members being so successful. We will keep you updated with any further progress with the awards.
