Leinster Rugby will begin their Heineken Champions Cup campaign with a trip to Montpellier on Saturday, 12 December at 5.30pm (Irish time).

Rounds two and three will both be against Northampton Saints, albeit with a month between games.

On Saturday, 19 December, Leinster will welcome Northampton Saints (KO 1pm) before travelling to Franklin’s Gardens in the first of January’s two fixtures, on the 15th (KO 5.30pm).

And, completing the province’s four pool games, Leinster host Montpellier on Friday, 22 January (KO 5.30pm).

The television coverage in the United Kingdom and Ireland of this season’s expanded Heineken Champions Cup continues to be lead by BT Sport who will once again broadcast every match live.

The 24-club competition, featuring nine previous winners with 19 titles between them, will also be available on a free-to-air basis with one key match per round on Channel 4 and Virgin Media.
